Chandrayaan 3 landing pic by ISRO The Indian Space Research Organization's (ISRO) third lunar mission, Chandrayaan-3, launched on July 14 at 2:35pm , successfully landed on the lunar surface on August 23, making India the fourth country after the former Soviet Union, the United States and China to make a soft landing on the lunar surface. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the ISRO scientific team and said: “India's mission to the moon was not only a success in India. Carlsen defeated R.Praggnanandhaa in the final but the 18-year-old dragged him into overtime.
